DAP provides clients with a dedicated source for turnkey design build services and construction management services. DAP functions as a designer-led design build group and performs construction project scheduling, coordination of subcontractors, vendor and design consultants to bring the project within budget and on time. DAP maintains a wide network of highly proven sub consultants and subcontractors that rounds out our team.
Under the leadership of founder Ms. Alicia Hernandez, quality, innovation, professionalism and diversification have become our benchmarks.
Alicia Hernandez has over twenty five (25) years of experience in Construction and Project Management. She is the owner of DAP Construction Management, a small emerging licensed, bonded and insured Arizona construction company. Ms. Hernandez has served in various roles and has extensive knowledge in construction management, design, contract work, service and repairs. She holds a Masters in Architecture, and proudly served in the United States Army as a Regular Army Officer (as Captain) and earned her Airborne Wings and the Bronze Star Medal for service during the Persian Gulf War.

And, we at DAP fully understand that large complex infrastructure and energy efficient projects requires highly qualified individuals, capable of interacting effectively with consultants and prime contractors.
DAP Construction Management holds multiple certifications. To highlight a few, the company was accepted into the Small Business Administration (SBA) 8(a) Business Development Program in 2015, the Veteran Administration (VA) Certified Veteran Enterprise (CVE) as a Service Disable Veteran Owned Small Business, (SDVOSB), verified by the Woman’s Business Enterprise National Council (WBENC) as a Women Owned Small Business (WOSB), Small Business Administration (SBA) Historically Underutilized Business Zone, (HUBZone), and LEED construction firm.
DAP’s core capabilities include managing vendor relationships, ground up construction, the retrofit of existing buildings and structures with collaborative teaming all partners that are highly qualified design and construction professionals. DAP’s resume of completed and in-process projects is extensive.
